Privacy Policy

EFFECTIVE: Feb 6, 2025

01 Introduction

Unich Network ("Unich", "we", "us", or "our") is committed to safeguarding your privacy and handling personal information in a transparent and responsible manner. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, process, store, and disclose information when you access or interact with https://unich.com, any associated decentralized applications, web interfaces, mobile interfaces, blockchain-integrated tools, and any other online services that link to this Privacy Policy (collectively, the "Platform").

Unich Network operates as a Web3-enabled ecosystem that combines on-chain infrastructure with off-chain interfaces. While blockchain networks are inherently decentralized and publicly record certain transaction data, Unich does not control public blockchains and does not maintain off-chain records of protocol activity beyond what is necessary to operate and secure the Platform. We only process information as described in this Privacy Policy.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When changes are made, the "Effective" date at the top of this page will be revised. Your continued use of the Platform after any update constitutes acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. This Privacy Policy forms part of and is incorporated into our Terms of Service.

02 Acceptance of this Privacy Policy

By accessing or using the Platform, you acknowledge that you have read and understood this Privacy Policy and agree to its terms. Where applicable laws require your explicit consent for certain processing activities, we will request such consent before collecting or using your information for those purposes.

If you do not agree with any portion of this Privacy Policy, you must discontinue use of the Platform immediately.

The Platform is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. You must be legally capable of entering into binding agreements under applicable law in order to use the Platform. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children as defined under applicable children’s privacy laws, including the U.S. Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information to us in violation of applicable law, please contact us and we will take appropriate steps to remove such information.

We do not store private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords, and we will never request such credentials. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your wallet security information.

Unich does not store private messages on-chain and does not create internal profiles that associate wallet addresses with real-world identities. However, if you voluntarily provide additional information in connection with your use of the Platform, such as submitting a support request, participating in governance discussions, reporting a security or operational issue, or engaging in community activities, we may collect the information you choose to provide. This may include your email address, wallet address, transaction identifiers, descriptive details of an issue, or other contextual information.

In certain cases, blockchain-related data such as wallet addresses, transaction hashes, or token transfers may be processed when submitted in connection with a request or interaction. Although such data is publicly available on blockchain networks, when combined with other information you provide, it may be considered personal data under certain laws.

You may also choose to provide information that we have not specifically requested. In such cases, you are responsible for the content and accuracy of any information you voluntarily disclose.

Additional details regarding analytics technologies and related choices are provided in the "Analytics" section below.

03 Information We Collect

Unich Network is designed to minimize the collection of personally identifiable information. We do not collect information that directly identifies you unless you voluntarily provide it. However, certain limited categories of data may be collected automatically or in connection with your interaction with the Site and related services.

We may automatically collect limited, anonymized, or technical information for operational and analytical purposes, including the following categories:

  • Device Information. We may collect general technical information about the device and browser you use to access the Site, such as browser type, operating system, screen resolution, language preferences, and referring URLs. This information is used to ensure compatibility, optimize performance, and diagnose technical issues.
  • Geolocation Data. We may infer your approximate geographic region based on your IP address. This typically includes general location data such as city, region, or country and time zone. We do not collect precise GPS coordinates through the Site.
  • Usage Information. We may collect anonymized information regarding how you interact with the Site, such as pages visited, features accessed, session duration, and general navigation patterns. This information is used to improve functionality, security, and user experience.

You may choose to connect a blockchain wallet to access certain functionalities of the Site. When you do so, we may process your public wallet address and related blockchain transaction data solely for the purpose of enabling requested features. Blockchain transactions, wallet addresses, and transaction hashes are publicly available on distributed ledgers. We do not control and do not alter such public records. We do not request, collect, or store your private keys, seed phrases, or wallet passwords. You are solely responsible for safeguarding your wallet credentials.

We do not store message content transmitted on public blockchains. We do not use wallet data to build behavioral profiles beyond what is necessary to operate the Site. We do not associate wallet addresses with personal identity unless you voluntarily provide identifying information to us in connection with a support request or other direct communication.

User-Submitted Information. If you contact us, submit a support ticket, report a technical issue, submit an incident claim, or otherwise communicate with us, we may collect the information you provide. This may include:

  • Contact details such as your email address;
  • Technical identifiers such as wallet addresses, transaction hashes, or message IDs;
  • Descriptions of incidents or disputes;
  • Supporting documentation or attachments you choose to provide.

You are responsible for ensuring that the information you submit is accurate and appropriate for disclosure. We collect such information for the purpose of reviewing, evaluating, and responding to your request, as well as fulfilling compliance, audit, and operational obligations.

In some circumstances, publicly available blockchain data combined with other information you provide may be considered personal data under applicable law. In such cases, we process that information in accordance with this Privacy Policy and applicable legal requirements.

You may also voluntarily provide additional information that we have not requested. In such cases, you are solely responsible for the content and scope of the information you choose to disclose.

For further information on how we use tracking technologies for analytics and your rights and choices regarding them, please see the "Analytics" section below.

04 How We Use Information

We process information for legitimate operational, security, and compliance purposes consistent with this Privacy Policy.

We use information to operate, maintain, and provide the Platform, including enabling wallet connections, processing user-submitted requests, responding to inquiries, facilitating governance participation, and delivering technical support. Information submitted in connection with incident reports, dispute processes, compliance reviews, or protocol-related matters may be used to evaluate, assess, adjudicate, and resolve such matters in accordance with applicable rules and procedures.

We use technical and usage data to improve system performance, enhance reliability, optimize user experience, and develop new features. Such data is analyzed in aggregated or anonymized form wherever possible.

We may process information to protect the security and integrity of the Platform. This includes detecting, investigating, and preventing fraudulent behavior, abuse, unauthorized access, violations of our Terms of Service, or threats to network infrastructure.

We may also process information as necessary to comply with applicable legal obligations, regulatory requirements, court orders, lawful requests from authorities, or audit obligations.

Information that does not identify you, including aggregated or de-identified data, may be used for any lawful purpose.

05 Sharing and Disclosure of Information

We do not sell personal information.

We may share information with third-party service providers that support the operation of the Platform. These providers may assist with infrastructure hosting, cybersecurity monitoring, analytics processing, fraud detection, data storage, or technical support. Such providers are contractually obligated to process information only in accordance with our instructions and consistent with this Privacy Policy.

Where you submit incident reports, governance-related materials, or other operational submissions, we may share relevant information with internal reviewers, external auditors, technical assessors, governance bodies, or legal advisors where necessary to conduct appropriate review, ensure fairness, maintain system integrity, or meet legal requirements.

Certain information related to protocol activity, such as transaction identifiers or non-identifying summaries of decisions, may be disclosed publicly in the interest of transparency, particularly where such information is already publicly recorded on a blockchain.

We may also disclose information if required to do so by law or if we believe in good faith that such disclosure is necessary to comply with legal obligations, protect our rights, prevent fraud, or respond to lawful governmental requests.

Aggregated or anonymized information that does not identify individuals may be shared except where restricted by applicable law.

06 Analytics

Unich Network may use privacy-focused analytics tools configured to limit data collection. Analytics systems are implemented in a manner designed to avoid persistent identifiers wherever feasible. IP addresses may be truncated or anonymized. We do not intentionally deploy tracking mechanisms designed to build cross-site behavioral profiles.

Analytics data is used to understand general usage trends, diagnose technical issues, and improve performance. You may configure your browser settings to limit certain tracking technologies where applicable.

07 Security and Data Protection Measures

We implement reasonable technical and organizational safeguards to protect information against unauthorized access, misuse, alteration, or loss. These measures may include encrypted communications, restricted access controls, network monitoring, system logging, and internal access limitations based on role and necessity.

Because Unich Network is designed to minimize off-chain data collection, much of the information processed through the Platform is either anonymized, temporary, or publicly available via blockchain infrastructure. Where feasible, information is processed in volatile memory and not stored long-term.

Despite these safeguards, no transmission over the internet or electronic storage method is entirely secure. By using the Platform, you acknowledge that residual security risks remain.

You are responsible for safeguarding your wallet credentials, private keys, seed phrases, and any authentication details associated with your accounts. Unich cannot recover lost private keys or reverse blockchain transactions.

08 Data Retention

We retain information only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, unless a longer retention period is required or permitted by law.

Technical and analytics data that does not identify individuals may be retained in aggregated form for system improvement and audit purposes.

Information submitted in connection with operational reviews, governance processes, compliance obligations, dispute resolution, or legal matters may be retained for as long as necessary to satisfy legal, regulatory, audit, or transparency requirements.

09 Social and Developer Platforms

Unich Network maintains community presence on third-party platforms such as Discord, X, GitHub, GitBook, and similar services. Your use of those platforms is governed by their respective privacy policies and terms. We do not control how those third parties collect or process data. Any information you choose to share on such platforms is subject to their policies.

We use these platforms primarily to provide updates, technical documentation, and community engagement.

10 Information for Individuals Subject to EU Data Protection Law

If you are located in the European Union, European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions applying similar data protection laws, certain additional rights may apply to you under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) or equivalent legislation.

For purposes of applicable European data protection laws, "personal data" refers to any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual.

We process personal data on the basis of contractual necessity where processing is required to provide requested services, legitimate interests where processing is necessary to maintain, secure, and improve the Platform and is not overridden by your rights, compliance with legal obligations, and consent where explicitly required.

European residents may have rights including the right to access personal data, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, restrict processing, object to certain processing activities, and receive data in a portable format. These rights are subject to statutory limitations.

11 International Data Transfers

Due to the global nature of blockchain infrastructure and our service providers, information may be processed in jurisdictions outside your country of residence. Where required by applicable law, we implement appropriate safeguards to ensure that personal data transferred internationally is protected in accordance with relevant legal standards.

12 Information for California Residents

If you are a California resident, you may have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and related amendments.

In the preceding twelve months, categories of information we may have collected include technical usage information, wallet addresses submitted in connection with Platform functionality, contact details voluntarily provided, and incident-related submissions. The purposes for collecting such information are described in the "How We Use Information" section above.

We have not sold personal information in the preceding twelve months.

California residents may have the right to request disclosure of certain information about data collection practices, request deletion of personal information subject to applicable exceptions, and exercise non-discrimination rights.

13 Your Rights and Requests

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to personal information we hold about you, request correction of inaccurate information, request deletion where legally permissible, object to certain processing activities, or request data portability.

To exercise applicable rights, you may contact us using the information provided below. We may take reasonable steps to verify your identity before responding to requests. Requests that are repetitive or manifestly unfounded may be subject to reasonable administrative fees where permitted by law.

We may decline requests where retention of information is necessary to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, enforce agreements, maintain security, or defend legal claims. Where a request cannot be fulfilled, we will provide an explanation consistent with applicable law.

14 Contact Information
