Security is a foundational principle of Unich Network. As a network built around ownership, freedom, and trustless coordination, Unich Network is designed to prioritize the protection of users, data, assets, and system integrity across both on-chain and off-chain environments. This Security Policy explains how Unich Network approaches security, what measures are implemented to reduce risk, and what responsibilities users retain when interacting with the network.
This policy applies to all products, services, applications, smart contracts, infrastructure, and interfaces operated, maintained, or officially supported by Unich Network.
Unich Network is built on the understanding that no system can ever be completely risk-free. Instead of promising absolute safety, Unich Network focuses on minimizing attack surfaces, reducing single points of failure, and designing systems that remain resilient even when individual components fail.
Security within Unich Network follows three core principles. First, critical value flows should be verifiable and enforceable by code rather than trust. Second, sensitive operations should be isolated, permissioned, and auditable. Third, users must retain ultimate control over their assets and identities, with Unich Network acting as infrastructure rather than custodian whenever possible.
Unich Network operates a hybrid architecture that may include centralized services, decentralized components, and blockchain-based smart contracts. Infrastructure is designed with layered security controls, including network segmentation, access controls, encryption, and continuous monitoring.
Production systems are protected using industry-standard security practices. Administrative access is restricted to authorized personnel only and is governed by strict internal controls. Secrets, credentials, and private keys used for operational purposes are stored using secure key management solutions and are never hard-coded or exposed in client-side environments.
Unich Network continuously monitors its infrastructure for abnormal behavior, performance degradation, and potential security incidents. Logging and alerting systems are used to detect unauthorized access attempts, system misuse, or unexpected changes to critical components.
Smart contracts are a core component of Unich Network's architecture. Because smart contracts are immutable once deployed, security considerations are integrated throughout the design, development, and deployment lifecycle.
Before deployment, smart contracts undergo internal review processes focused on logic correctness, access control, economic safety, and abuse scenarios. Where appropriate, Unich Network may engage independent third-party auditors to review smart contract code and identify potential vulnerabilities.
Despite these precautions, smart contracts may still contain unknown risks. Users acknowledge that interacting with smart contracts involves inherent technical and economic risks, including but not limited to bugs, exploits, oracle failures, governance attacks, and unforeseen interactions with other protocols.
Unich Network does not custody user private keys unless explicitly stated otherwise for specific services. Users are solely responsible for securing their wallets, private keys, seed phrases, and authentication credentials.
Unich Network will never ask users to share private keys or recovery phrases. Any request to do so should be treated as fraudulent. Loss of private keys may result in permanent loss of access to assets, and Unich Network is generally unable to recover assets in such cases.
Users are encouraged to use reputable wallet providers, enable available security features such as hardware wallets and multi-factor authentication, and follow best practices for personal security.
Unich Network implements technical and organizational measures to protect user data against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. Data collected through Unich Network services is handled in accordance with applicable data protection laws and Unich Network's Privacy Policy.
Sensitive data is encrypted in transit and, where appropriate, at rest. Access to user data is limited to personnel who require it for legitimate operational purposes and is subject to internal access controls and auditing.
While Unich Network takes reasonable steps to safeguard user data, no system can guarantee absolute security. Users acknowledge and accept that data transmitted over the internet or stored on distributed systems carries inherent risks.
Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account credentials and for all activities conducted through their accounts. Unich Network may provide tools or features to enhance account security, such as multi-factor authentication or session management controls.
If Unich Network detects suspicious activity associated with an account, it may take protective measures, including temporary restrictions, session invalidation, or account suspension, to mitigate potential harm.
Users are expected to notify Unich Network promptly if they believe their account has been compromised or accessed without authorization.
Unich Network actively works to prevent abuse that may undermine network integrity, user safety, or fair participation. This includes measures to detect and mitigate spam, fraud, manipulation, exploitation of incentives, and other forms of malicious behavior.
Automated systems and manual reviews may be used to identify abnormal patterns of activity. Where abuse is detected, Unich Network may take enforcement actions in accordance with its Terms of Service and Community Standards.
Unich Network encourages responsible disclosure of security vulnerabilities. Security researchers and users who discover potential vulnerabilities are encouraged to report them privately so that they can be investigated and addressed without exposing users to unnecessary risk.
Reports should include sufficient detail to allow Unich Network to reproduce and assess the issue. Unich Network will make reasonable efforts to acknowledge reports and address verified vulnerabilities in a timely manner.
Unich Network does not support or permit extortion, public disclosure of unpatched vulnerabilities, or exploitation of vulnerabilities for personal gain.
Unich Network maintains internal procedures for responding to security incidents. In the event of a confirmed incident, Unich Network will take reasonable steps to contain the issue, assess impact, and restore normal operations.
Where required by law or deemed appropriate, Unich Network may notify affected users or relevant authorities. Communications related to incidents will be handled carefully to balance transparency, accuracy, and security considerations.
Unich Network may rely on third-party services, infrastructure providers, open-source libraries, or blockchain networks. While Unich Network evaluates third-party dependencies carefully, it does not control their security practices or availability.
Users acknowledge that failures, vulnerabilities, or disruptions in third-party systems may impact Unich Network services and are outside Unich Network's direct control.
Users are responsible for understanding the risks associated with using blockchain technology, decentralized systems, and digital assets. Participation in Unich Network is voluntary and at the user's own risk.
Users should exercise caution, conduct their own research, and avoid interactions that they do not fully understand. Unich Network does not provide investment, financial, or security advice.
While Unich Network takes security seriously and invests in protective measures, it does not guarantee that its services will be free from vulnerabilities, attacks, or failures. To the maximum extent permitted by law, Unich Network disclaims liability for losses resulting from security breaches, exploits, or user error.
Unich Network may update this Security Policy from time to time to reflect changes in technology, legal requirements, or operational practices. Updated versions will be published through official Unich Network channels, and continued use of the services constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
